SUNDAYS AT THE MUSEUM

On the occasion of the temporary exhibition QUILLING – Creative Devotions from cloistered monasteries (5 April to 2 September 2012), the Education Department of Pinacoteca Agnelli has created a series of workshops on the theme of paper. During  a guided visit visitors willd discover the paperoles, marvels of paper, votive objects produced in monasteries by the end of the 17th and 18th century, so named for the peculiarities of decoration made of paper with watermarks. The Education Department offers educational workshops for schools of all levels, for families and children aged 4 and up during the Sundays in the Museum and for adults.
The main theme of all activities is to rediscover the beauty and preciousness of paper, rolled, curled, folded as in the works on show, that can give surprising results giving a new precious look to a material considered poor.

Appointments are provided every Sunday at 16.00. Parents can accompany children during the activities or leave them with the educational worker.
